To support their personal growth through experiential learning and development of core skills. Work alongside the Occupational Therapy Team to provide tuition for learners within low secure Forensic Mental Health Services which may include personal development of meaningful and appropriate interests, literacy and numeracy / core skills (including ICT), and ESOL. This post is 12 hours per week and the hours are negotiable over Monday to Friday. ![]() One of the exciting parts of this jobs is that no 2 days will be the same. This will involve identifying and developing learning materials in response to their needs as well as communicating with the wider Blair Unit team to ensure that learners needs are being met. The successful applicant will need to be able to build relationships with a wide range of learners to assist them to successfully engage in learning. You will be supported by the development manager from the Communities Healthy Minds Team as well as staff from the Life Skills team within the Blair Unit. We are looking for someone who is looking to make a difference to vulnerable learners staying within the Blair Unit, supporting them on a wide range of topics agreed and discussed with each learner.
